Your swimmers set three new school records and earned two Bronze medals at the State Championships!
We had four individuals set new Walker records this year, starting two weeks ago when Ralph Grand’Pierre set a new record in the 50 Free with a time of 22.04. Then this weekend at the State Championship, three others joined him in the record books. Alex Grand’Pierre broke his own record in the 100 Breast with a time of 57.39. For the girls Etta Rockman put her name on the board in the 100 Back (101.37). Maddie Meyers actually set a new record twice in the 50 Free at the State meet, first in the individual event (25.94) and then again in the 4x50 Free Relay (25.86). With their finishes, both Grand'Pierres also earned Bronze medals at the event! Channing Arnold and Divya Gordon as well as Nikhil Jaglin and Jaelin Martin also qualified for the Championships as members of both the 200 Free and 200 Medley relays. Congratulations swimmers on a terrific season!
