Black History Month:
Black History Month is a time when we focus attention on the contributions and celebrate the endeavors and accomplishments of African Americans to the United States. In the Primary School, we have recognized and learned about many notable African Americans; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Mae Jemison, Barack Obama and Jackie Robinson just to name a few. Please ask your child who they learned about this week!
Super Bowl Sunday Safety:
Watching the Super Bowl this Sunday? The Walker Health & Safety taskforce asks you to follow CDC recommendations for gathering virtually or with the people you live with. Enjoy the game while adhering to the three Ws: wear a mask over your nose and mouth, watch your distance – at least 6 feet from others – and wash your hands often.
