The Walker School New Avenues Dyslexia Program serves children with dyslexia in grades 1-5 who have above-average academic aptitude and a strong desire to fulfill their abundant potential. The program was developed by renowned consultant Gena Farinholt and experienced speech/language pathologist Sue Rittenberg.
With dedicated support at home and at school, students in New Avenues will work and learn within Walker’s college-preparatory environment. Remediated students will then transition into the existing school community with the strategies and resources to flourish in the classroom and beyond.
