Alumni

Celebrating 40 years of Walker Alumni, the Office of Alumni Relations is proud of each alum. Attending colleges and universities across the globe, Walker graduates are pursuing their dreams to become all that they envision.

Our graduates may leave our campus on commencement day, but they never leave our hearts.

    Virtual Career Panels
Throughout the year, and in conjunction with our College Counseling office, the alumni office hosts virtual career panels designed to allow alumni to share their career paths and post Walker stories with current upper school students. Using a casual interview format, alumni throughout many disciplines have enjoyed reconnecting with Walker in this way!

    Bridge Builders
We’re throwing out the antiquated “Class Agent” title and, instead, looking for Bridge Builders. We need volunteers to help us build bridges out to our alumni and back to Walker! If you are connected to your Walker community in any way (large or small), we need you to help collect and share important news, events, and information.

Time Commitment: 45-minutes quarterly for virtual meetings and about as much time as you like to spend on social media

    Great for:
    • Alumni who enjoy using social media and are well-connected
    • Alumni who are interested in storytelling
    • Alumni who enjoy being “in the know!"

    Campus Reps
These days our students aren't able to tour many of the colleges or universities in which they are interested. If you are willing to ZOOM with a Senior to chat about the culture, environment, and academics on your campus, we'd love to connect!

    Time Commitment: 30-minutes as needed

    Great for:
    • Alumni who might be involved in a variety of activities on campus
    • Alumni who enjoy being “in the know!"
    • Alumni who may work in the Admissions office of their University
    Alumni Profiles

In addition, your experiences help us improve as a school and help others to understand the value of an independent school education. We want to hear your story! Volunteer to become an alumni profile today!

    Time Commitment: 1 hour

    Great for:
    • Alumni who are willing to share about their time at Walker and beyond!
