It was a day filled with excitement, learning, and community.

Primary School Musical
Our students have been working hard learning the material for our musical on April 17th, and they are so excited for the performance. Here are additional details about their costumes and the evening of the performance.
  • Date: April 17th, at 6:00pm
  • Location: Coca-Cola Auditorium, located in our main building off Cobb Pkwy
  • Student attire: A jersey top (provided by Walker) will be sent home the day of the musical. Students will need to arrive back at school wearing their jersey, black athletic shorts, white socks, and sneakers.
    • If your child is an Early Learner, they should wear short white socks and sneakers.
    • If your child is in Pre-K or Kindergarten, they should wear high (knee high) white socks and sneakers.
EDP will end at 5:30 p.m. on April 17th

All children must arrive back at school by 5:30 p.m. Please drop your child off in the following locations in the main building before finding your seats. *Please have your child use the restroom before you drop them off.* After the performance, all students will walk back to their assigned classroom. Please pick up your child at the same drop-off location.

Family Input for Class Placement
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we invite Primary School families to contribute to the conversation. The Family Input Form provides families with an opportunity to share information about their children that would be helpful as we work toward class placement for next year. If you feel that there is no need to complete this form, rest assured we will place your child appropriately in her or his class.

Volunteers
The Primary School Family Volunteers Form provides Primary School families with a chance to express their interest in being a Room Parent, Buddy Family, etc. Our Community works best when we all work together to welcome new families and create meaningful opportunities to support students, faculty, and staff.
**Rising 1st Graders, please fill out the Lower School Family Volunteer Form

Counselor’s Corner
In guidance this month we will be discussing being a Superflex superhero! Superflex is a social thinking curriculum by Stephanie Madrigal and Michelle Garcia Winner. They describe this hero as someone who is totally flexible, trying to figure out other people’s wants and needs to keep other people calm while also getting his/her turn to play and to speak as well. He/she is a great problem solver and can think of many different solutions to one problem. For more information regarding the Superflex curriculum please visit the social thinking website.
