Middle school requires independent management and organization.  Setting up systems and learning how to navigate multiple classes, teachers, and schedules can be quite a challenge. Campers will be introduced to organization systems and study strategies to assist with the transition to middle school.
Emphasis will be placed on utilizing teacher blogs, communicating with instructors, study strategies, note taking, time management, and developing personal organization.

    Register today

Do you like to play games?  Do you like winning them?  In this class you will (hopefully) get to do both - though the second part is up to you.  We’ll be taking a deep look at several games - some that you know (for example - this one or this one) and some that you’ve never heard of before.  By the end of the week, you’ll know how these games “work” deep down, but more importantly you’ll learn how to take this type of strategic thinking and apply it to any scenario, whether a new game or an actual “real-life” task or problem.  We’ll tackle a game or two each day, and end the camp with a tournament using  games  we played over the course of the week! Please bring a refillable water-bottle and a healthy snack each day.
