Walker Alumnus giving Marimba recital Sunday

Ryan Sawyer (class of ‘19), is presenting a Marimba recital this Sunday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church (471 Mount Vernon Highway NE, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328). Ryan is a graduate of Brown University with concentrations in Music and Applied Math and was featured as a soloist with the Brown University Orchestra. The program will feature compositions and arrangements by Sawyer as well as works by J.S. Bach, Joseph Schwantner, Radiohead and from the film La La Land. The program will last about 75 minutes, including the 10-minute intermission. The recital will be casual; feel free to attend in whatever attire you see fit.
