On Tuesday, January 29, we will host a screening of the documentary Angst in the Coca-Cola Family Auditorium at 7 p.m.
Angst is a 56-minute IndieFlix Original documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents, and a very special interview with Michael Phelps. After the documentary, we will host a Q&A session with the filmmaker Scilla Andreen, as well as psychologist Dr. Jerry Bubrick of the Child Mind Institute and Walker counselors Dr. Jen Swales and Dr. Chrystyl Tutt.
Upper School students will watch Angst during assembly on Tuesday, January 29, and seventh and eighth grade students will watch during their assembly on Wednesday, January 30. If you would like to see the film before your student(s) or you are unable to attend the community screening, we will also host a preview of the film on Monday, January 28, at 5 p.m. in the auditorium.
We hope you will join us for this important film. This screening is free and open to the community, and we encourage parents to invite family members, neighbors, and friends. To RSVP to the community screening on January 29, please reserve your free ticket(s) using the following EventBrite link.
