Senior Spotlight - Ffion Button, Cross Country
What is your favorite memory at Walker and why? Or what do you like most about Walker?
One thing I like most about Walker (it’s cheesy!) is the family / community feel. Every day when I walk onto campus I always walk out happier (even with calculus tests). My favorite memory at Walker is late-night mock trial practices when Allan H would dance.
What is your favorite class in school and why?
My favorite class in school is Physics with Dr. Carter because it was challenging but at the same time so much fun. I also loved how personable my AP Euro class was last year.
Who is your favorite teacher at school and why?
My favorite teacher is Dr. Schafer as she has shaped my Walker experience so much and has taught me so much along the way. In the future, I aspire to be as empathetic, intelligent and service-oriented as she is. I know Dr.Schafer will always be there when I need to chat and will always offer the best advice.
