Walker alum Gordon helps announce Google expansion

Walker alum Hetal Joshi Gordon (Class of ’93), Google Director, Global Client Lead and Atlanta co-site leader, helped announce the expansion of Google's Atlanta offices and the company's $1 million donation to the city's non-profits.

The donation is part of Google's commitment to the city of Atlanta. The company confirmed Monday its expansion plans, with new offices expected to open in 2022.

Hetal, whose children attend Walker’s Lower and Middle Schools, was quoted in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“This is a program we’re doing to build the digital skillsets that people need to have access to be able to be successful today,” Google Atlanta co-site leader Hetal Joshi Gordon said at the groundbreaking event.
