Walker is a family, a very
close knit one, and our WOW Group concept allows the relationships to cross
divisions, age levels and interests. In order to allow our older students to
mentor younger students and for students at all levels to interact, we formed
WOW groups a few years ago. Each WOW group is comprised of two or three
faculty or staff members and four to five students from varying grade levels.
The groups meet four times a year and enjoy fun activities like the
Homecoming pep rally and community service projects like building kits for
soldiers overseas.
