Save The Music
Have fun with the entire family while supporting a great cause!
When: 7-9 PM, November 10, 2007
Where: Coca-Cola Family Auditorium
What: Family-Friendly Charity Concert featuring Walker teachers
The Walker School is hosting a charity concert and would like to invite all Walker families to attend! The event will feature “Extra Credit,” made up entirely of teachers from the Walker Upper School. The band will play a medley of rock hits and original music, as well as release their debut CD. The event will be family-friendly, with all lyrics appropriate for children of all ages, so parents are encouraged to bring their children for what is sure to be a fun and exciting evening!

Not only will the event be enjoyable for the entire family, but all proceeds will be donated to VH1’s Save the Music Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to fund struggling school music programs across the nation. In order to raise money for the charity, tickets will be sold for $5 each, and t-shirts, CDs, and refreshments will be sold during intermission. T-shirts will also be sold in a pre-sale leading up to the concert for $8, a 20% discount. If you would like to order a t-shirt in advance for yourself or members of your family, please fill out and return the form below with a check or cash to the Middle or Lower school office, where drop boxes for orders will be placed. Orders will arrive the week of November 5.
