Middle School Science Fair
At the Cobb-Paulding Regional Science and Engineering Fair held at Wheeler High School in February, Three Walker 7th graders and one 6th grader won special recognition. Kevin Flansburg and Hunter Mitchell both won first place ribbons, Andrew McGreggor won a second place ribbon and Joseph Illingsworth won a first place ribbon. In addition, Kevin Flansburg and Hunter Mitchell were named as two of the twelve Kemira Awards for Excellence given to individuals demonstrating exemplary work. Each received a plaque and a $ 100.00 savings bond. Kevin Flansburg, Joseph Illingworth, and Hunter Mitchell are eligible to compete in the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair in Athens April 6th - 9th. Regional Science Fair Pictures
