(Includes Try-out dates and game dates): The Walker School Athletics Calendar
*Mr. Paran vs Walker Varsity Basketball Game on Jan. 23 will be in support of the Jimmy V. Foundation (Red) and the Kay Yow/ WBCA Fund (Pink). Both teams are selling red and pink t-shirts for $10, checks payable to The Walker School; the deadline for ordering the t-shirts will be Jan. 7. Students received a letter with more information in advisory. Please consider supporting this worthy cause and wear your red or pink shirt to the game!

01/07/09 Wednesday):
*Deadline for red and pink t-shirt ordering (for the Red & Pink Basketball Game with Mt. Paran on Jan. 23). Any student or parent wishing to order a t-shirt or donate to the charities may send a check payable to The Walker School c/o Leigh Block.
01/11/09 (Sunday):
1:30-3:30 PM: Open House; Students who wish to volunteer as representatives/ guides at this Open House, please see Mr. Fisher.
01/13/09 (Tuesday):
7:00-8:30 PM: Parent Program, "The Big Talk: How to Talk to Your Kids About Sex" in the Auditorium. This is the parent portion of the sex ed classes that all 8th grade students will be attending later in the month; however, parents of all grade level students are welcome!
01/14/09 (Wednesday):
9:50- 10:30 AM: Fine Arts Awards Assembly
01/19/09 (Monday):

8:00- 11:30 AM: 8th grade students visit the Upper School
7:00PM: "Fireside Chat" with Bob Murphy (US Principal) for MS and US parents in the Auditorium.

8:00 AM- 12:00 PM: Admissions Testing
01/26/09 (Monday):
9:50- 10:40 AM: 8th Grade Sex Ed Class. Class Curriculum available on Jennifer Vaughan's teacher webpage.

9:50-10:40 AM: 8th grade Sex Ed Class.
