Dear Walker Community,

We hope that you all enjoyed the relaxed schedules of the summer and that your start to the new year has gone smoothly.  Many of you have commented that this is the beginning of the final year with Don Robertson as our Headmaster.  I know that Don is excited about all the change that lies ahead yet he remains 110% committed to our school.  For that, the Board is and I am especially grateful.

The deadline for application for our Headmaster Search is currently set for August 30.  By then, our search consultants should have received the curriculum vitae and supporting documents for any interested parties.  Our Wickenden Associate representatives will present a cadre of viable candidates to our Search Committee during the second week of September and it is possible that potential candidates will be visiting the school during the following 3 - 4 weeks.  

We look forward to involving as many of our constituents as possible in the search for a new Head and will continue to keep you updated via this website and other communication avenues.
