In April 2011, rising Walker senior Scott Shockley was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. A three-sport athlete, Scott has quite a bit of experience in dealing with challenges (see here for the Marietta Daily-Journal's feature story on Scott). The Walker Athletic Department would like to invite you to help us show support for Scott as he battles his toughest obstacle yet.
Throughout the year, the Walker Athletic Department and various groups throughout the school will encourage members of the Walker family to support
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
, where Scott will be getting treatment. At each of the following events we will be publically announcing our hope that everyone attending will help support Scott by making a donation online in his name to support this effort.
